Corefront Electrical Group (ABN 35 287 866 714) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.

What we collect

Your name, phone number and email address, the address or suburb of the job, details about the work you need (including any photos you send us), your preferred dates and times, and the records we keep for quotes, invoices and payments.

How we collect it

Directly from you, when you fill in the quote form on this website, call, text or email us, or speak with us on site.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, book and carry out work, issue invoices and compliance certificates, follow up after a job, and meet our legal obligations. We will only send you marketing if you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with people who help us run the business, such as email, accounting and invoicing providers, and suppliers where needed for your job. You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handled your information, contact us first and we will do our best to fix it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to quotes and electrical work carried out by Corefront Electrical Group (ABN 35 287 866 714, Lic. No. 488463C). Your written quote sets out the price and scope of work. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Compliance

All electrical work performed by Corefront Electrical Group is carried out in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 standards. Corefront Electrical Group accepts no liability for any pre-existing wiring or electrical installations that were not part of the specified scope of work and are found to be non-compliant with Australian Standards.

Warranty

Corefront Electrical Group provides a 12-month warranty on workmanship from the date of completion. This warranty does not cover materials supplied by the client or damage caused by external factors, misuse, or third-party interference.

Liability

Corefront Electrical Group’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the specific electrical work performed. We are not liable for any consequential loss, damage, or injury resulting from pre-existing faults in the building’s electrical system.

Payment terms

All invoices are strictly due for payment 5 days from the date the invoice has been issued, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to commencement of work.

Ownership of materials

Ownership and title of all materials, fittings, and goods supplied by the contractor do not pass to the client until the invoice is paid in full. Until payment is received, the contractor reserves the right to enter the premises during reasonable hours to reclaim and remove any unpaid materials or equipment.

Cancellations and access

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking. If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours, or if safe access to the property is not provided within 15 minutes of the agreed time, a standard call-out fee will apply.

Client-supplied items

Where the client supplies fixtures or materials (for example lights, fans or appliances), no responsibility is accepted for the quality, performance, or warranty of those items. If a client-supplied item is faulty or fails after installation, any return visits required for troubleshooting, removal, or replacement will be charged at standard labour and call-out rates.
